Working Principle
 

Ingersoll Rand D-Ibri Series Blower Heated Desiccant Dryer 14m3/Min -40c PDP
1.Ambient air is extracted by the blower, and then heated by an external electric heater before the hot air enters the regeneration tower for heated regeneration of the adsorbent;

2.After heated regeneration for a period of time, the heater is closed, and the blower is used for cooled regeneration and reduction in temperature;

3. Afer the desiccant tower decreases to a certain temperature point, the dry air from the outlet of the work tower is used for blower cooled regeneration in the regeneration tower, with the period average air consumption being ≤3% to finally complete desiccant activation of the adsorbent in the regeneration tower;
 
4.When the outlet air quality requirement is not high (e.g. atmospheric dew point ≤-40ºC) or the ambient temperature is low, only the blower is used for cooled regeneration, without introducing the dry air from the outlet of the work tower, for no regeneration air consumption (which is zero at the time).

Features

1.Double-offset PTFE seal butterfly valve is used for reliable performance and long service life.
2.Superior double-position five-way solenoid valve is used as air actuated valve to guarantee reliable operation of the equipment.
3.Blower with reliable performance is used to ensure normal operation of the drying system.
4.Unique design guarantees uniform distribution of dry regeneration air flow, and eliminates "short circuit" phenomenon with the velocity high at the center and low at the edges.
5.Tower body and high-temperature pipes are wrapped with embossed aluminum sheet for insulation to prevent energy waste.
6.Special pressurization feature ensures uninterrupted air supply in the process of dryer switching.
7.Various measures are taken to ensure no loose layered bed and no loss & prolonged life time of the desiccant.
8.Slow air flow through the dryer increases the contact time with the desiccant, maintains the dew point and reduces pressure loss.
9.Pressure gauge and safety valve is equipped for every tower.
10.An appropriate cooling period is included in the regeneration cycle to prevent peak at dew point during switching.
11.Standard configuration: PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human Machine Interface).
